Since AES had much better luck recycling his question through a second time, I'll try the same tactic. Does anyone know where Leopard (Safari) stores the temp file for a flash video stream? It is definitely in a different place than Tiger.

Is there an open source DVD transcoder for Leopard? I do NOT want to rip DVDs... I want to convert a various types of video files to DVD and then write the resulting VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files to the DVD.

Any point in using the Oxford English Dctionary CD-ROM (the full version) via Fusion on a Macbook via Fusion with a MacBook topped out with 4 GB of memory? I'm worried it will run so slow as to be pointless. It's already a bit slow when I run a bunch of things

Are there any programmes which allow you to adjust with the colours of a movie (eg the contrast, brightness etc) while it is playing. The movie could be either an avi file or something directly from a DVD. TIA,

My ibook with Leopard installed went haywire, Mail comes in but will not open, Palm Desktop will not open. URL's open in google without difficulty. I ran Disk Utility but no improvements. Are there other general fixit programs.

I'm using MTNW 3.5.2 under 10.3.9, w/ Comcast as my ISP. The problem I'm having is that sending e-mail responses to posts invariably fails with "error -50." Anyone know what this is, and whether there's a way to fix this?

I have been attempting to watch some video in Safari but not getting any sound. So far I have had this twice, once on an animated ecard with sound, the other an interview, Changing to iCab gives the sound.

From time to time I receive emails that show up in an extremely small font size. (Most of the time however, received messages appear normally.) I'm assuming that these messages showing the small font size are not the result of a setting on my end.

I have been set up with gmail.com and using mail.app to access it when I am at my home computer. When I moved from Tiger to Leopard, I noticed that posting, as measured by the rotating symbol duration, increased in time by maybe three times as much, but it still worked.
