I am quite new in the Mac world, so forgive me if my question is a
silly one.
Before my mac experience I used to organize my pictures in the

Ever since Butler started acting up a few weeks ago, Tiger seems to have
lost its ability to run Address Book. Address Book starts, but then
quits immediately. This has affected Mail.app's ability to automatically
fill in email addresses, and of course, Mail does not remember

Does anyone in here read, write/type, and print Chinese and Korean
documents, e-mails, and Web pages and use software that use asian
characters in datas)?

We have been using Harvard Charts on Windows to plot some of our Excel
data.  I want to be able to do that on the Mac.  The huge problem is we
use semi-log charts almost exclusively and they are fractional.  In

I have Leopard 10.5.4. The version I have of DVD Player is 5.01.  Is

Has anybody else found that Silverkeeper often misses files?  It missed
copying over some aliases.  So I've got to think that if it missed
those, what else did it miss?  I checked and it looks like everything
else was updated.  Using it on 10.4.11.

I'm fairly new to video and would appreciate any help.
I have a CD with multiple powerpoint (PPT) files, complete with audio,
auto-run and a playlist txt file. This CD does not autorun on a mac, but

Hello. Is there a freeware encryptor software to encrypt my data files
like TrueCrypt?

I have Safari set to check for my RSS feeds every 30 minutes, but is
there some way I can check all my feeds manually (without having to
click on every single one).
