I am quite new in the Mac world, so forgive me if my question is a

Address book weirdness09 Jul 2008 15:18 GMT2
I was just doing my usual early morning stuff that included updating
my address book. For some reason, Safari, Address Book and Mail all
stopped responding at once. After force quitting all three, the address
book has disappeared. Nothing of interest seemed to show up on the ...

Address Book doesn't run09 Jul 2008 02:58 GMT12
Ever since Butler started acting up a few weeks ago, Tiger seems to have
lost its ability to run Address Book. Address Book starts, but then
quits immediately. This has affected Mail.app's ability to automatically
fill in email addresses, and of course, Mail does not remember

I need a package to plot time series on the Mac09 Jul 2008 00:20 GMT12

Safari will not start07 Jul 2008 14:17 GMT41
This morning after booting, Safari wouldn't start. Whenever I try to
start it, it shows up in Activity Monitor as "not responding". When I
log in as a guest user, Safari works perfectly, so it must somehow be
related to my personal settings. Are there any ways in which I can

Silverkeeper missing files07 Jul 2008 08:09 GMT1
Has anybody else found that Silverkeeper often misses files?  It missed
copying over some aliases.  So I've got to think that if it missed
those, what else did it miss?  I checked and it looks like everything
else was updated.  Using it on 10.4.11.

I have Safari set to check for my RSS feeds every 30 minutes, but is
there some way I can check all my feeds manually (without having to
click on every single one).
TIA,
