I decided to try moving from MS Word to iWork's Pages, but just found
a document which I'd worked hard to keep to two pages (one sheet, two
sided) suddenly became three pages, with just a few lines on the third
page. A quick search on this newsgroup found a message Paul Sture

I was wondering if anyone has contracted this. My girlfriend
discovered that her screensaver the slideshow one is displaying
undesirable images superimposed on top of the images she had being
accessed by the screensaver. at first we thought it was a virus

Can I backup my hard drive with OS 10.4.11 on it while the OS is running, or
should I reboot from the install disk? (I have the full retail version) I
couldn't find any mention of this on the CCC web pages.

I have pretty much given up creating complex calendar items at home.
Instead, I create them at work using Outlook, and export the item to
an .ics file and attach it to an e-mail to my home.
Now I open it and it has all of the detail I want.

So with Toast Titanium 9, I can burn almost any type of video file and
play it in a DVD Player.  Except Real Video *.rm files.

I was Rebuilding my internal drive using DiskWarrior from my Firewire
Drive. I've done this many times without any problems.
I'm running OS X 10.4.11. DiskWarrior 3.0.3.
This time DiskWarrior hung during rebuilding.

In BBedit, how do you delete a saved GREP pattern simply? In the Find
dialog box, there is "patterns" drop down button where you can add
patterns you have made. Thought I would clean mine up a bit this
morning, but found no simple way to delete the ones I did not want.
