Legitimate postings marked as junk?05 May 2008 17:20 GMT9
I have noticed that many spam posts have been marked as junk by previous
readers. That serves a useful purpose.
On the other hand, many posts that seem to be legitimate are also marked
as junk. Who does that? Is it frustrated advertisers? Is it just

You folks helped awhile back when I asked about software that I

Now I'd like to know what sort of software I need to grab a video
clip from, say, a movie or TV show that's on a DVD.

selections from the iTunes album, by shift/selecting, so that, for
example, the music at the beginning of the slideshow would start at cut

MacSpeech Dictate: does vocabulary training work?04 May 2008 04:56 GMT4
I tried vocabulary training in Dictate, but it didn't seem to retain the
words from my documents - it flagged the same words as unknown in
successive documents in different training sessions. In other words,
what it supposedly memorized in the first session was not applied to the ...
MacSpeech Dictate Amazon reviews - comments?04 May 2008 04:03 GMT93
The four reviews all give it one star, the lowest possible rating.  All
consider it a Beta at this point.  Most recommend to wait for a later
version.

Hi. I am running OS 10.5.2 on a 24" Imac.

Detecting/identifying Airport users?03 May 2008 07:33 GMT10
Couple of questions about an Airport LAN; what can connect to it; and
how one can at least detect (not necessarily identify) who's connected
