Helping a friend on a PC: the song names cannot be found, or so says iTunes (on a Windows PC). What could be wrong? Internet access (eg webpages) works at the same time.

When I try to delete messages in the latest OS X 10.4.11 Mail they just go light gray. When I try to drag them to the trash it says: "The destination mailbox doesn't exist". ?? I've repaired permissions recently. It just started to happen
