I am trying to use an iMac OS 10.1 as a backup for an iBook OS 10.5 using
Firewire and Leopard's Time Machine.

When I print something wirelessly, everything works perfectly, however,
is it possible to get the printer programme to quit automatically when
it is finished. I mean the programme which boots up and allows you to

I ran the dashboard utility "Applications Update"  It is telling me that
I have version 1.0 of "Expose" and the current version is 4.6.   I look
and the only "expose" I find is in my applications folder, and when I
click it, it does the expose I can get by squeezing my mouse.   ...

Does anyone know of an OS X program similar to "Smartdraw" for the PC?
My objective is to personalize a map of France wherein I can insert

The folders on my Imac have the same "Date Modified" as the
corresponding, duplicated folders on my external drives.
But when I examine the contents of the folders on both the Imac and the
external drives, some of the contents of some of the folders on my Imac

OK, I tried to create a filter for csm.apps that said "if the newgroups
line has 'advocacy' in it, kill the post" to kill all those cross posts.
But the filter errors out with a server index thing.  OK, annoying, but

Using Mail, if I drag my archive (saved email) folder to the desktop I
get an mbox file with everything archived by the assigned number.
If I delete the Archive folder in the program to keep it clean and start
again, if I have to look up a saved email in that mbox folder, is there ...
