I have some .AIFF files with 4:1 IMA/ADPCM compression. I had
succesfully converted all of them to MP3 in the past.
I now tried to convert them to AAC format. And it huffs and puffs, but
fails when it reaches the last second, with a "disk read"write" error.

I am running Mac OS 10.4.10 (OS X Tiger) and I want to work with zip
compression.  I want to take some PDF files put them in a folder, zip
the folder, store it on a remote server and point it to a link on my
Blog.  I used the finder feature in OS X to "archive the file" which

I have been using my ipod to store parts of audio recording such as
parts of audio books. When I import CD's or mp3's into itunes and
store them on my ipod, they get stored in the songs folder, but I
would like to have a separate folder if possible because I would like

I moved the "My pictures" folder from the XP hard disc to an external disc,
connected the disc to the Mac and imported all the folders/directories.
On the external disc they were all named in the format YYYY_MM_DD, but some
of the events created are named in format YYYY MMM DD.

Are there any gnucash users on Mac Leopard here?
I'm considering dumping Quicken for it. (or for
my own manual spreadsheets for that matter).
