Is there a way to reboot the airport card in a MacBook Pro?17 Dec 2007 14:13 GMT4
Since upgrading to 10.4.11, I have been losing my ability to communicate
with my wireless router.  The signal is strong.  I just can't talk to
it.  I can't even access the router's control panel.
I have tried turning Airport off and back on but that doesn't fix it.

FINAL CUT PRO HELP!!!  ANNOYING PULSE/BEEP IN PLAYBACK!
I'm using FCP, and I'm trying to edit, but in the playback, instead of
playing the real audio - I just hear annoying pulses/beeps every half
second.

Every once in a while I will be writing an e-mail and will hit some
unknown key that deletes a large part of what I have just written, and I
can't figure out how to get it back.
What key is doing this?  It isn't delete.
Mail App problem with PW17 Dec 2007 01:05 GMT8
My POP server keeps rejecting my password and asking me to re-enter it,
which I do. I always check the box reading: "Remember PW in my
Keychain" but obviously my Keychain never remembers, since this dialog
keeps popping up.

According to the Cmd + Cntl + Click on Subjects trick, I can see that

Problems recovering info from a crashed HD15 Dec 2007 23:10 GMT4
I have a friend with a G4 PowerBook, in the 867 MHz range.  She had
extensive business, financial, and personal records on the machine and
is highly  organized.  The machine started acting a little weird.  I
told her to buy a small LaCie FW and back up her (40 GB) drive at least

Today I attempted to update my daughter's Firefox 2.0.0.8.  I have the

command in the Help menu is greyed.  In her user account, it is not
greyed but when I attempt to update, I get an error message saying ...
Login screen puzzle15 Dec 2007 02:07 GMT4
Ages ago I was puzzled by an extra skirt that appeared in the
login screen for Tiger every now and then. I have been waiting
for it to happen again so as to photograph it and note what
circumstance might be triggering it.

Hi. I have a question about organizing applications in the Applications

Anyway, my question is this:  Is it okay to make subfolders in the

I've purchased an iPod for my son who'll be here for Christmas.
