System: G4 mirror doors dual 867mhz with 2 "17 apple studio monitors. Worked fine in Tiger. Now that I've installed Leopard the second monitor is detected and apparently active but opaque. The monitor boots up but then goes black when the desktop sets. Any ideas?

I'm thinking about replacing my current, original G4 MacMini with a new one tomorrow. But I would like to use GarageBand on it and sell off my G5 Powermac. Is the new Intel mini powerful enough? And is its 2Mb max ram enough?

I am truni to find a good emai app for Max 10.4. Tbird seems to be stuck these days and it is a bit clunky anyway. Mail App is not really featured enough and I don't want to shell out for MS Office (Entourafe).

When I close my mac, applications that are running cease to run. Is there any way to turn this behavior off? I realize it's generally a good idea but I want to be able to run Propellerhead's Reason while I've got it in my carrier bag, closed.

I am trying to use Apple's Mail App (Mac 10.4.) with Google IMAP. I can now send and receive fine but I cannot delete messages. They move to trash ok and I can empty trash but when I next run Mail App the deleted messages show up in the Google Mail IMAP folder calls "All Mail". I ...
