MT-NW and Leopard02 Dec 2007 21:04 GMT18
I've been having some interesting times with MT-NW (3.5.2) and Leopard,
in that the application tends to hang, waiting for confirmation after
sending a post out.
Except occasionally when it doesn't hang. Randomly.
Quicken vs. GnuCash02 Dec 2007 17:54 GMT4
I had read sometime in the past that the 2007
version of Quicken for the Mac had some pretty
severe problems and limitations compared to the
Windows version. My sister is returning to the Mac
Add DVDs to iTunes02 Dec 2007 17:52 GMT3
Is there a Mac app that will let me add DVDs that I have purchased, not
from the iTunes store, to iTunes and my 30GB iPod?  This would be on a
MacBook Pro that I bought in July of '07.
burning coasters with iTunes (how to avoid?)02 Dec 2007 15:03 GMT5
I'm a newbie trying to burn my first iTunes playlist to CDR, but keep
getting the message: "The attempt to burn a disc failed. The device

Can anyone explain what may be going on and suggest a remedy, please?
Bingo card generator02 Dec 2007 14:49 GMT6
Every Christmas the family plays Bingo. When I was still in the
thrall of the Dark Side, I had a really nifty program that would
generate the Cards and print them. I looked through Versiontracker
and the Bingo card generators either don't do number Bingo (apparently

Some years ago I made up a database of names and addresses using
OpenOffice.  The file is in .wdb format.
Now OpenOffice will not open the file and says that a "connection to the
file cannot be established".

printing Christmas envelopes01 Dec 2007 20:56 GMT14
I made the leap from Windows & Outlook to a MacBook Pro over the
summer.  It's time for Christmas cards again, I've entered addresses in
the Address book for everybody - well sort of.  For a family, I use
"John & Debbie" instead of creating two cards.  So how do I print the

MT-Newswatcher, sent messages in progress01 Dec 2007 19:44 GMT11

I want to save something (in HD if possible) from the saved file in

then onto a DVD that I can play on a standard DVD player?
