iPod without iTunes?31 Dec 2007 22:02 GMT4
A Google search on the subject line above brings hits on a dozen or more
emerging third-party apps that apparently let you do something like the
above on various platforms -- but it will clearly be difficult to
determine just how each of these functions without doing a lot of
Fifth Weekly Repost of "Notice to Newcomers"31 Dec 2007 20:59 GMT6
Ubuntu is named by date, not by consecutive numbering, so 7.10 signifies
a system from October, 2007, also called Gutsy Gibbon. 7.04 was from
April, 2007, Feisty Fawn. They come six months apart, and the next one
should be 8.04, April, 2008, Hardy Heron. 7.1 has no meaning in ...

I have an 80 IPod.  Last week I had all my music and my movies on it.

Permanently remove large files from iPod30 Dec 2007 20:58 GMT2

deleted them from the iPod. The next time I sync iTunes puts them right back
on. They show in the iPod list as unchecked.
How do I delete them permanently?

I'm finding that all-in-all Pages is a very capable program with a user
interface that, at least in my mind, is more ...
