I can't get it to print from the Quickbooks program.  I've
troubleshooted with the printer hookup to no avail.  Any suggestions?
iPhoto '08 - Irritating?11 Nov 2007 20:57 GMT12
I really enjoy the power and simplicity of iPhoto but I have to say
the new version has some garbage I don't like.  I do a lot of cropping
and previously, you simply used the mouse to define the crop area.
Now you have to first choose "edit" and then use the preexisting box
White iBook G4 Issue11 Nov 2007 16:51 GMT5
My daughter has this three + year old unit that, all of a sudden, just
either does not want to power on or, if it does, it will only stay on
for a short period of time.
My only real experience is with PCs and from that, I am leaning toward

Hi, I'm trying to incorporate music into my slideshow in either iDVD
or iPhoto.  I want to be able to play several songs during the
slideshow at different times and for different amounts of time (for

Sync Laptop to Desktop11 Nov 2007 08:47 GMT1
Does anyone have experience or opinions of these two products:
A) ChronoSync from Econ Technologies
B) Synk Standard or Pro  from Decimus
Are there other apps I should consider?  Both of these two cost about
how to make a menu for a DVD?11 Nov 2007 04:02 GMT1
I regularly burn DVD-R's with several different videos.   I want to
make a custom menu so you can select between them and maybe put a nice
background image and some music when it comes up.   What is the
easiest way to do this?
Weird Leopard Upgrade Problem11 Nov 2007 02:03 GMT38
I recently cloned my drive using Super Duper as it was too
small...after cloning I installed in my MacBook Pro and all was fine
until I tried to upgrade to Leopard and got a peculiar GUID error
saying the drive was bad and I would have to repartition the drive
NTSC/PAL Region 2 DVD's10 Nov 2007 23:01 GMT46
Since so many of my video problems have been solved recently, I decided
to accrue a few extra.
I just ordered and will soon receive both a PAL encoded and Region 2
indicated DVD's.  I understand that for the most part my US version
comfortable one-click file transfer software (via http or ftp)10 Nov 2007 22:06 GMT1
I was wondering if there's a tool out there for macos 10.4/10.5 which
helps me to "send" large files while i'm online directly from my mac.
Perhaps even with the following features:
-automatic set up of a tiny http or ftp-server on demand

OS X apps for text macros, batch replacement?10 Nov 2007 21:36 GMT4
after ten years of Windows Diaspora, I am back on the Mac. :) While I
had a trillion apps on the PC, I will try to keep things simple this
time. However, I will need some tools, some of them urgently, so I
thought I'd ask the pros.
Switching iPod from Windows PC to Mac10 Nov 2007 21:36 GMT4
I have a large iPod which I received as a gift last Christmas, which I
currently connect to my Sony Vaio Windows laptop.  I have a non-
trivial amount of music stored on the hard drive of my laptop, which
is almost all uploaded into my iPod.  I have ordered a new MacBook

can send messages at the same time, as in Yahoo ? How ?
Corrupted HTML files10 Nov 2007 13:26 GMT5
Earlier today I asked how to open HTML files that had been received as
attachments to emails. This problem was solved simply: use a web
browser or text editor. But once they were open, the real problem
became clear. The purely text portion of the emails were fine, but
