I'm mulling over the idea of getting a digital camera with a flash
drive.
It saves video movies in AVI format.
Might someone recommend an application for converting those AVI files

I have a couple of slideshows that friends and relatives would like to
view on big-screen TVs.
My TV is an HD 40-inch Sony with Direct TV.
I can connect cables from my Nikon D70 to the receiver but the quality

Being a Mac switcher about 6 months ago (and glad I did). I've had
several updates - all installed no problem.
I know from windoze that all OS changes were done by physical media.
Don't suppose a new OS from Apple has ever/could be done via download?

I have a quick Iphoto question.
I keep burning photos to a disc from Iphoto, but then when I go to a
photo development place to download them all the pictures have been
copied onto the disk 3 or 4 times.

I've been researching a purchase of a Macintosh for a short while.
I've narrowed down my choices to one of the 2.4GHz iMac models. I was
considering a MacBook Pro originally but I can't imagine that I would
enjoy using Photoshop and Dreamweaver on a Macintosh laptop any more

In scanning a document for email distribution as a jpeg, I'm using a
Canon scanner with Photo Studio software which does the job quite well.
My question is this;

I have swf flash files I want to upload to YouTube and YT won't accept
them.
Any idea on how to convert to mp4 or mov or avi?

Group, can someone please tell me where I might find a one-trick pony?
I need a utility which will accept an input of many images (JPG, PSD or
NEF for example) and, on command, bring all of them to a uniform gamma,
brightness, and/or color balance.

When I use Itunes to burn a CD of itunes (m4p and m4a) files on my
DELL 4400 using a NEC CD-RW drive I hear an very brief (2 seconds) and

Does anyone know if it is possible to limit the file size of a backup
segment in Retrospect?
