Do you know if you will be able to write a file, from the Mac side of

It's been some two years since I accessed OS 9.22 on my system (iMac G5

My mail folder contains 4.7 Mb in messages. The cache in
/Library/Caches/Mail contains double that. Does Mail really need that?
Can they be deleted? I'm using Panther (10.3.9) and Mail 1.3.11.

I have a few DVD's viewed for a film discussion group.  I want to cull
a scene or two from three of these, and burn it to another dvd
hopefully with a menu.  Like three chapters: Example 1, Example 2,
Example 3.

I am trying to connect to a pc running xp pro in order to drop a
podcast on the pc desktop each day. I currently use remote desktop to
drop this on other macs but I can't get it to work on the 2 pc's on
