Speaking of "last straws"... It drives me nuts that Courier (or Courier New) 10pt doesn't use the same smoothing as Courier 11pt! Is there a way to fix this? Before anyone suggests it, I've set System Preferences > Appearance > Turn off

I didn't take note, but sometime ago I saw a message somewhere implying that it is possible to install functioning OS 9 on an Intel Mac. Can anyone point me to more information on this topic? Is it worth discussing here, if you consider OS 9 an app on an Intel Mac?

I would like to enter some birthday's in Address Book, but I don't know (and don't want to ask) the year of birth. When I enter a date without a year, Addrees Book adds the current year. Even if I delete the year, AB puts it back.
