A feature I'd like to see13 Aug 2007 11:57 GMT14
I hardly ever have ideas for features I cannot find in Apple's included
software, but the absence of one feature really stands out for me:
I use iCal 2.0.5 extensively. I wish it loaded faster and didn't take so
long to enter data (gives me the spinning beach ball much too
iWork'0813 Aug 2007 11:56 GMT10
Just got my copy of iWork'08. The Numbers app is new of course and after
some ten years with 'the' other spreadsheet application - it will take
time to get accustomed to the new look and feel.
Tried this in Numbers:
Adding text boxes to footers in iWeb13 Aug 2007 03:12 GMT1
Hey all
I just received my iLife '08 from Apple. I like this program very
much, as it is easy to use. There is only one that I can figure out to
do. That is that I can figure out why one of my photo pages in iWeb

Is iPhoto08 compatible with iLife07 apps?12 Aug 2007 19:17 GMT8
I currently own a Mac mini 1.5 PPC that came with iLife06.  I see now
that iLife08 is available, but it looks like iMovie will require a
better machine.  Do you all think that iPhoto08 will be compatible with
the rest of my iLife06 suite and even iTunes etc.?
iWeb Cooties12 Aug 2007 18:10 GMT1
I am dedicated to iWeb for development.  It's easy, it's pretty, it's quick.
I just upgraded eagerly to iLife08 with the hopes that iWeb's various
nuisance aspects (easily modified templates chief among them), would be
all better. I can't speak to that quite yet but thought I'd ...
"Dollars and Sense" Mac OS812 Aug 2007 17:09 GMT6
I have a "Dollars and Sense" file that I can't open on my Intel Mac.
If anyone can help I'll gladly pay for a printout of it.
Pages 0812 Aug 2007 08:56 GMT2
I downloaded the trial today and spent sometime converting a 2-page
leaflet to it (using a blank page layout format). Previously I had used
Pagemaker 7 under Classic.
I note that:
iLife '06 now or wait for iLife '08 in Oct.???????11 Aug 2007 19:48 GMT33
Hey all
Just wondering if I should buy iLife '06 now or if I should wait until
iLife '08 in October. I mainly want it for iWeb, so that I can create
a website features the tons of photos I have from vacations.
Pages vs. InDesign -- Using Grids and/or Guides11 Aug 2007 17:38 GMT8
I edit a monthly newsletter for my local Macintosh user group. The newsletter
is available online as a downloadable .pdf file. The most recent issue can be
had at <http://www.capmac.org/newsletters/CapMac_Offline-2007-08.pdf>.
The newsletter is produced using InDesign CS3 and is ...
Airport question11 Aug 2007 17:36 GMT32
I just found an Airport icon on the upper, right corner of my screen.
When I clicked on the icon, a drop-down menu showed up, with a bunch of
names in a list, which sounded like nicknames. What does this mean?
And is that icon normally there? I hadn't noticed it before. It seemed

Update - How to transfer TAPES and ALBUMS to CD via GarageBand10 Aug 2007 21:05 GMT9
Okay, now it's over 2 years later, and I've moved on to an intel iMac
running 10.4 and GarageBand 3.0.4.  Suddenly, the method described
below doesn't work anymore.  Despite changing my system preferences
sound input setting to line-in, I can't get GarageBand to record any
Restructuring iTunes Music Folder Hierarchy in the Finder?10 Aug 2007 16:27 GMT16
I'd like to use the Finder to restructure the folder hierarchy of
"songs" inside my iTunes Music Folder to suit _my_ organizational needs,
not Apple's vision of how it should be done, then have iTunes rebuild
its various iTunes Libraries to preserve and match my structure.
