Sorting Bookmarks in Safari?21 Aug 2007 17:09 GMT8
Is there a command to sort a hierarchical collection of folders and
bookmarks (alphabetically) in the Safari Bookmark menu?
[Netscape has this ability -- you can sort recursively down thru the
hierarchy -- and it's very handy.]
Help! on Retrospect file backup21 Aug 2007 12:09 GMT9
I thought I was making an initial file backup of my Tiger-running
MacBook's 80 GB internal HD, which was a bit less than half full, to an
external 120 GB FireWire drive, using Retrospect 6.0.  It took about
four or five hours to copy all the 500,000+ files on the internal HD.

Keychain Access Forgets?21 Aug 2007 01:00 GMT4
This is both a question and a heads-up, I suppose.
I went to get a password from Keychain Access today and it wasn't
there.  It was in a backup file, so I was able to get it, and there's
no really serious harm done.

Mail question- How do I get RID of the red message count??!19 Aug 2007 16:45 GMT3
There must be some simple way to tweak my system, whether it is

number, displaying the number of messages in my mailboxes, on my Mail
dock icon.  I canʻt figure out how.  I find the huge display annoying
Safari and movies: where did it go?19 Aug 2007 04:20 GMT7
A colleague emailed me a link to a 12 MB QuickTime movie on his site;
let's say the URL was <www.hisSchool.edu/hisPage/hisMovie.mov>, and he
sent it to me in an email I read on Eudora.
I clicked on it and it opened my default browser Safari (MacBook 10.4);
Useless Mail Trivia19 Aug 2007 02:50 GMT8
Too much spare time on my hands. . . .
I really like the way the Mac Mail icon has the little red circle that
