Having recently bought a wired 'mighty mouse' (very good), I had
reason to want to run 'Repair Disk Permissions' from 'Disk Utility' on
the Tiger install DVD.

Noticed in Firefox, some ads weren't displaying -- droppping a QT logo
with a question mark. Seems I had to go into the QT prefs and reset the
mime types to "default" to correct this. I don't know what it means to
other stuff that I might want to view. I'm not even sure what file ...

Just discovered that MacLinkPlus Deluxe can't open or read an old
WriteNow 2 file.

I upgraded from OSX 3.6 on my G4 iBook, to OSX 4.10  It was only
