Burning Audiobook into an Audio CD without breaking into too many tracks15 Jul 2007 18:53 GMT2
I bought an audiobook from audible.com, which I would like to burn
into audio cd(s), when I use itunes to burn into  CDs, it creates
several tracks each of length about 7minutes. I don't want it to be
broken into so many pieces, but would be happy to have one track per
Doc or Book Maker for OS X Tiger15 Jul 2007 18:18 GMT5
Does anyone know of a good (preferably free) OS X Tiger compatible
application for making simple doc or book documents to be read on Palm

Many thanks,
Placement of downloaded files15 Jul 2007 13:56 GMT11
Whenever I click on a file in Firefox and the file gets opened in an
external application, a copy of the file is placed on my desktop. Very
often, I look at several pdf-files within a short time span, and my
desktop becomes a complete mess. Isn't there a way to disable this
Parallels & WinXP Home install - Session3 error15 Jul 2007 12:30 GMT3
I have a new MacBook Pro for about a month now and so far it's been pretty
good.  I need to run a couple of applications that only run on Windows
(arggh, the pain, the anguish<g>) so I bought a copy of Parallels when I
bought the MacBook and then a copy of WinXP Home from BestBuy ...
iPhoto Format Workflow15 Jul 2007 10:29 GMT1
My understanding is the JPEG format suffers slight reductions in quality
every time you save the file.  I've been making more adjustments and
crops of my photos, and while I try to make them in one session before a
save, I don't always.  I'm wondering if others have come up with ...
SeaMonkey 1.1.2 - how to download & extract binaries?15 Jul 2007 04:18 GMT8
I knew how to download and extract binaries well enough using
stand-alone news readers, but I don't see how to do this using
SeaMonkey's newsgroup reader. Would someone please point me in the right
direction? I do have an app that will handle PARs, so I'm not concerned
Camino question14 Jul 2007 19:01 GMT1
I have used the web browser Camino 1.5 for a while, on and off, and I'm
puzzled by the fact how something (flash? javascript?) is being rendered
- or not. As a simple example, on yahoo.com, there are a couple of spots
that don't seem to render at all, except as what appear to be the ...

Mac app to remove MS Office document passwords13 Jul 2007 18:46 GMT13
Can anyone recommend a Mac specific application that can remove
passwords from MS Office documents? They abound in the PC world, but
all I've been able to find for the Mac is an app that removes pdf
passwords.
iPhone and sync notes question13 Jul 2007 15:10 GMT4
I used to be able to put notes and stuff into my iPod. Can I do this
with an iPhone or sync the Notes with, say, the Stickies on my MacBook?
Possible to save an entire set of tabs in Safari?13 Jul 2007 10:53 GMT11
I have a window with five tabs. I know I can save each tab as an html
file. However, is it possible to save all 5 tabs in one file, so that
when dbl-clicked it opens into a window with five tabs?
trn binaries for MacOSX?13 Jul 2007 10:35 GMT6
I've been trying to find some trn (threaded newsreader) binaries for
my iMac G5 (10.4.10) but I can't seem to find anything after searching
extensively in Google. Anybody have a web or ftp site for a download?
Dynamic Background12 Jul 2007 22:23 GMT6
I've used Windows quite a bit over the years and one thing that I can
remember being there in the past was a feature where you could make
your background a website.  I was wondering if there was anything
similar for OS X.  I don't even really care about the website so much
Cyberduck12 Jul 2007 16:25 GMT11
Anyone using the latest Cyberduck, update came out today? It is a
bit different in the transfer window now. And a bit crazy too!
Keeps saying transfer incomplete and giving wrong quantity data
when in fact it does upload files.
