| iSync and ATT (non-iPhone) models | 07 Jul 2007 15:07 GMT | 3 |
Not sure if iSync is system or app re posting. I have a contract with ATT which doesn't expire until Nov but I am eligible for an upgrade this month. My current, absolute bottom feeder Nokia is weirding out and works about 10 percent of the time. The rest

| Another way to decompress files? | 07 Jul 2007 02:34 GMT | 12 |

How can I type special characters, like a check mark? The Mac Help Viewer says to use Utilities > Key Caps, but that program isn't in my Utilities folder, or anywhere else on my computer. I'm using OS 10.4.9 on a 2006 Imac.

| mac minis - smaller but are they cheaper? | 07 Jul 2007 00:13 GMT | 22 |
I noticed that mac minis are quite cheap, but then again you are only paying for the hard drive. Since you would have to buy a screen/keyboard on top, would it be fair to assume that if you bought a mac mini, you'd be paying just as much

What's the quickest way to insert the current date into some text? I like to name some of my files with the date included in the name. Can the system do this, or do I need a macro programme? Is one generally considered the best?

| Help - need calendar app.!! | 06 Jul 2007 18:08 GMT | 6 |
OK, first, a bit of background - I've been running a really good calendar application on various Macs since, uh, 1992, I think. David Oster's 'Cal'... it allows notes to be kept for every day, which it saves in text file format, in directories labeled for the dates. It's
