I have an entry of xterm-256color in the directory /usr/share/ terminfo/ 78/, which I think came with ncuresew package I installed via DarwinPorts. If I run mrxvt and export TERM=xterm-256color, I see

Hi folks-- QuickTime 7.2 doesn¹t show/play embedded photos/videos on web pages. That¹s the major problem I¹ve found so far, and I can¹t seem to fix it. It¹s been doing this since I upgraded via Software Update two weeks ago.

Recently I was having browser hangs while it tried to contact atwola.com. Apparently it's some adware site. I added it to my Hosts file and the browsers are loading much faster. So now, I want to blacklist some more of these vermin. Can anyone point me to a list of

I want to have Safari 1.3, 2.0 and 3.0 all installed on the same (Intel) Mac Mini. Does anyone else successfully have such a configuration? Here's what I've done so far. Firstly, the Mac Mini came with 2.0 already installed (Safari/419.3).

Every day, I download log files from my server. Since installing Firefox 2.0.0.5 (updating 2.0.0.4), it has downloaded the ordinary binary file, and immediately converts it to an "MPEG-1 Video" file, which QuickTime tries to open, but cannot understand.

SuperDuper! can back up and recover its own disk image (.dmg) -- but not itself? Started with an iBook G4 running 10.3.9, and made regular backups to an external HD using SuperDuper!. The iBook failed.
