a friend sends me pictures to my yahoo account. When I open her email,
all i see are the broken icons, this is using both firefox and safari.
I can view pics using my Mail app, I can also view the pics if i get on

Every day, I download log files from my server.  Since installing
Firefox 2.0.0.5 (updating 2.0.0.4), it has downloaded the ordinary
binary file, and immediately converts it to an "MPEG-1 Video" file,
which QuickTime tries to open, but cannot understand.

SuperDuper! can back up and recover its own disk image (.dmg) -- but not
itself?
