QuickTime 7.2 woes!31 Jul 2007 18:05 GMT2
Hi folks--
QuickTime 7.2 doesn¹t show/play embedded photos/videos on web pages.  That¹s
the major problem I¹ve found so far, and I can¹t seem to fix it.  It¹s been
doing this since I upgraded via Software Update two weeks ago.

Recently I was having browser hangs while it tried to contact
atwola.com.  Apparently it's some adware site.  I added it to my Hosts
file and the browsers are loading much faster. So now, I want to
blacklist some more of these vermin.  Can anyone point me to a list of

Multiple Safari versions installed ... possible ?31 Jul 2007 00:58 GMT14
I want to have Safari 1.3, 2.0 and 3.0 all installed on the same (Intel)
Mac Mini. Does anyone else successfully have such a configuration?

Search & Replace31 Jul 2007 00:38 GMT17
I would be interested to hear how folks who do this sort of thing
regularly as part of their work would approach the following
problem. Seems simple enough but I had to fiddle about for ages
getting the work done. It is done and it is working happily but
Firefox 2.0.0.5 handling of binary files30 Jul 2007 22:28 GMT14
Every day, I download log files from my server.  Since installing
Firefox 2.0.0.5 (updating 2.0.0.4), it has downloaded the ordinary
binary file, and immediately converts it to an "MPEG-1 Video" file,
which QuickTime tries to open, but cannot understand.
