When I tried opening Palm it read" Unexpected End of File".  I cannot
get Palm desktop to open.

Is there a layout / drawing app that I can use under OS X instead of
Visio? The irritations of using it are starting to get on my wick.
Ideally a replacement should be able to read Visio files and templates.

My wife uses Windows for work and gets lots of .doc files, so she's
trying to install OpenOffice on her iMac G5. It requires X11, and we
can't get that installed. I dragged over the X11 tools from the 10.4.x

preview always shows in portrait mode. The data would be illegible

When I quit MS Word 2004, running under OS X 10.3.9, and there is a file

Anybody have an Airport Express base station fry?  Mine's about 3 years
old and today it just seems to have fried.  Got very erratic for a while
- the green status light flickering on and off - then it got very hot
and started to stink of ozone.  I unplugged it and let it cool ...

Despite its claim to be 'non-destructive' the my /user/Pictures/
directory now contains but a single file 'Aperture Library.aplibrary' in
