I would like to have my system wake up at 5 AM, record birdcalls from a mic in my backyard for an hour, save the resulting audio to a unique filename (one made up from the date and time would be fine) and then shut down.

I am in Mail, I want to look at a font. I command T and a font selection window comes up but has two small a maximum size. What bright spark put this limit on it, looks like 800 x 600 px to me. Not big enough on a big LCD with fine resolution. Am in Tiger

If I 'Kill' a subject/author the message is deleted, but are all future messages with/from the same subject/author deleted? If so how do I reset the list? I am under the impression that using 'Kill' rather then setting up a filter just deletes the currently listed messages but ...

Hullo, I've been attempting to back-up a few DVD's, however when I burn the VIDEO_TS folder with Roxio Toast, the dvd is not playable. The disc will mount (the VIDEO_TS folder and Audio folder are both burnt onto

Just wondered if there is a way to unpack a ".daa" file on MacOSX ?? Apparently it is a PC format... and having no PC available for this... I hope there is a way to "unpack" this......

When I get, say, my broker statements e-mailed to me, they arrive as RTF in the mail field, a 8-10 page document. When I go to print only like four pages show up and the rest are all blank. When I convert to PDF the same thing happens. What's going wrong?

I'd like to change the default font and font size for the LABELS of fields in Appleworks 6 database field labels. I can change the font stuff for text field contents, but can't find anyplace to change the label font stuff. It comes up in this tiny barely legible font.
