BT Home Hub - Wireless Router03 May 2007 11:17 GMT5
I want to set-up the wireless router on my Intel based Apple Mac. Do I need
the BT install CD? Does it work with the Apple Mac or can I rely on the Mac's
Airport set-up screens to get me through?
Guidance would be appreciated
StuffIt Expander - direct downloads03 May 2007 00:48 GMT10
Since StuffIt is playing games with its free StuffIt Expander tool, and
enticing users into signing up for advertising junk from them, here are
the URLs to directly download these products:
StuffIt Expander 11.0.2 for Mac OS 10.4 and later (.dmg format):
Mac MIDI app and hw probs02 May 2007 22:42 GMT3
Hopefully, the WWDC will lead to better software for the Mac,
not only from 3rd parties but from Apple itself.  The announcement of
new computers with faster chips would help but after all these years
it is astounding that QuickTime still can't playback MIDI files that
iPhoto and PDF files02 May 2007 21:31 GMT12
Is there a way I can store PDF files in iPhoto?
I'm very happy that this is possible in iTunes where I sometimes keep
interviews etc. from websites which I store as PDF and keep alongside
the music and videos.
Fonts and/or Font Book02 May 2007 17:36 GMT13
Is there a way to "resolve duplicates" on a machine wide or disk
wide or even folder basis rather than on a particular font folder
one?
iTunes and CDDB02 May 2007 14:28 GMT3
Using iTunes 7.1.1 to import CDs and then move them onto a 5G iPod.
Normally when I put the CD into my G4 Quicksilver tower, it takes a few
seconds for the CD Data Base (CDDB) to find and list the tracks and then
ask the usual Do You Want to import etc etc.
Simple website - what to use instead of Dreamweaver02 May 2007 08:37 GMT6
I have Dreamweaver MX 6.1
It seems it does not run anymore on Mac OS X 10.4.9 (Intel).
Anyway, I do not particularly Adobe's approach, having killed FrameMaker
on Mac etc.
Help...desktop disappeared02 May 2007 07:31 GMT8
I know nothing about Macs, but my wife has one.  A few minutes ago,
she was copying some pictures, but it seemed to her that the whole
process was stuck in limbo, as her screen told her that it would take
about three minutes to copy the 150 Mb, or so, and more than eight

Pages02 May 2007 04:37 GMT1
I'm experimenting with Pages and can't find a way to link one document
to another as I can with Word or Appleworks using bookmarks and links.
I would like to make a linked "contents" page to help me quickly move
through a folder of documents. Is this possible?
I have been cheated!02 May 2007 00:16 GMT5
In Solitaire XL Version 1.1 (1.1.7), I got down to the last three
cards in the pack. And I could have won had I been able to get at
one of the cards. But the software would not allow it, only the
top facing one was available. When I used to play this game with
Gmail through mail.app question01 May 2007 20:30 GMT3
For a while I was using an IMAP server, but now I am with gmail which is
POP.  I collect my mail on a diffeent computer, then when I later log in
on my home computer, the mail I collected previously is not downloaded
to mail.app to my home machine.
Parallels and Crossover01 May 2007 16:59 GMT40
My wife bought Parallels, so I probably will do the same, when I get
my Mac.
But I've seen other products such as Crossover and even a product that
appears to be like Parallels with Windows included.
Making A Disk Image01 May 2007 15:07 GMT4
Just purchased a new 17" MacBook Pro, and will soon be taking it on
vacation.
I'd like to take a couple of movies with me to watch on the plane, but i
don't want to have to physically take the discs with me.
