Does someone know how to prevent Mail to automatically download attachments in
received mail?
When I try to delete the mail before the attachments are completely downloaded
either they keep coming back or Mail gets totally confused.

i just got a mini-dvi to video adapter cable for my macbook. but when
i connect via s-video to my tv there is no sound. How do i get sound?

A neighbor has a G3 iMac with Panther.  He uses iTunes to play some CDs
made on a PC that won't play on a PC or a CD player.
By default, iTunes imports his CDs to the HD before playing.  Is this
necessary?

Is there any way to open an image from iPhoto without making a backup
copy?  The editor I use doesn't touch the original image.  It just
creates a small adjustment file.  However, that file points to the
original image, so I would like to leave it in iPhoto rather than copy
