iTunes radio group goes walkabout29 Mar 2007 13:50 GMT2
I obviously hit the wrong button somewhere along the way because I all
of a sudden don't have the "Americana" section on my iTunes Radio list.
How do I go about getting it back. I nEED my Radio Margaritaville
getting user file ownership and permissions right after a disk crash and re-installation29 Mar 2007 05:48 GMT5
I have an iMac running Mac OS 10.3.9 which had a disk crash, and so I
recreated the system from a backup (which involved an "archive and
install" -- I didn't realize until too late that Carbon Copy couldn't
directly restore a system disk that was my only boot disk).

Exporting pictures out of Mac's Internet Explorer's Scrapbook29 Mar 2007 01:05 GMT8
I thought this would be relatively easy to find, but I can't find
anything on this.  I'm not sure if anyone else who used to use IE has
had this problem, but all the pictures and pages I've saved to
scrapbook I can't export out so that they can be viewed by preview.
Earth Plus crashes when attempting to print29 Mar 2007 00:31 GMT1
With my two Mac Computers, Goggle Earth Plus, OS 10.4.9. When I am
trying to print a map the Google earth program freezes. It also
freezes if I select PDF. Google Earth quits if I try to email a map
image to myself. I notice that group users were complaining about this
Airport card client for OS9 needed28 Mar 2007 21:46 GMT2
Running OS9 on a PB-G3, I have an airport card with all the settings set
but no client to scan for and connect to networks.  Would anyone know of a
good and free(?) client I could use?
Thanks.

screensaver, desktop, dock applications, widgets, and different
word wrapping in Mail.app28 Mar 2007 16:46 GMT7
Morning.
I write my emails in plain text. It would be very helpfull if Mail.app
could automatically wrap the lines at standard wrap point (72
characters) so that I can see the text in the same layout as the
Mail reply often produces double spacing28 Mar 2007 14:18 GMT3
When I reply to a message in Mail, the old message quoted in the reply
often has two skipped lines where the original message had only one. I
suspect this has to do with CR-LF issues between Macs and PC's, but
Eudora (which I used prior to Mail) seemed smart enough to deal with

Wish no 95128 Mar 2007 11:53 GMT13
That all text, no matter where it is on a Mac, be copy/pasteable.
I am _not_ meaning to include explicit pictures of text as on
some websites (that would be an even more extremely fanciful
wish, ocr built in algorithms. If it was to be included in the
iTunes -- How much disk Cspace is occupied by playlists?27 Mar 2007 20:12 GMT3
Can't seem to find the info anywhere.
OCR App that Doesn't Need MacOS 9/Classic27 Mar 2007 17:53 GMT7
I'm way behind on OCR apps for OSX.  What ones run native and/or on
Intel OSX and don't need the old OS/Classic?
If OCR is a FAQ that comes up again and again, where do I find the document?
Thanks for all pointers.
What or Where is the Startup Process Scheduler27 Mar 2007 17:48 GMT4
I have some annoying processes that startup on a reboot that I'd like
to disable.  For example, an HP setup wizard that won't leave me alone
and some nosy processes that sniff around on the local network. They
are not controlled by the startup item preference for my user, so
