RealPlayer and Safari05 Mar 2007 13:28 GMT12
The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) uses a version of RealPlayer
to stream audio and video. It is said to be free from the reporting back
function of the product which is downloaded via a direct connection to
the web site. So this made it attractive for me. Unfortunately it ...
iCal and recurring events05 Mar 2007 13:15 GMT3
I'm using an old version of iCal, 1.5.5, which came with my iMac and I'm

day when it was created but then it isn't on the other days ...

Using Microsoft Word, I want to print two identical messages in half-
letter format on 8.5 x11" paper so that each message comprises half of

iTunes Sucks.  My nano keeps saying "Do not disconnect".  iTunes

memory, and the non-drag and drop interface is useless.
I'm beginning to think Apple did this on purpose to PC users.  They

Seeking Sundial time-lapse desktop app04 Mar 2007 14:31 GMT9
Some years ago, I had a program called Sundial, an app that showed a
view of San Francisco Bay, with the sun's position changing every hour

slower scroll?04 Mar 2007 01:12 GMT8
I just got a new Intel Mac mini, os 10.4.6 or other.
I still have my old G3 w/ os 9.2, which can do something my new mini
can't - it can
scroll at a reasonable rate so the $%&#(**#^Y% lines don't suddenly go

About OSX Mail03 Mar 2007 01:35 GMT35
My Mail application opens onto my desktop erratically.  It makes no
difference whether the app is open or shut down.  It makes no difference
if it's coming up with a new email or nothing.  It makes no difference
what I'm doing (newsgroups, browser, Word, iTunes, etc).
