iMovie - Intel iMac Core 2 Duo07 Mar 2007 05:00 GMT2
Strange happenings - any ideas how to overcome?
1) Select a clip.
2) Trim clip by splitting at play head. Clear trimming not required.
3) Add another clip
red eye tool in CS2 - present in Mac version, not in PC?07 Mar 2007 02:22 GMT6
I've CS2 on my Mac, and after extolling the virtues of CS2 to a mate,
he's now got it on his PC.  However, I noticed that the redeye
reduction tool (usually selectable via the healing brush button) which
I have is not present on the Windows version.

iTunes Import Problems06 Mar 2007 21:13 GMT9
OK, I'll admit that I'm not a big an of iTunes.  Ever since I started
using it on my PC almost three years ago when I bought an iPod I found
it clunky and mean-spirited.  But I persevered and am now trying to
persuade it to import my music collection from an external hard drive
Macs, voice/audio, and messengers?  Help!06 Mar 2007 20:34 GMT5
I am a novice to the messenger services, but I do have an account with
Yahoo Messenger.  I downloaded their latest version this morning.  I
have a girlfriend in Latin America with a PC, and she mentioned this
morning that she wanted to establish a voice link with YM.  I checked

Font Book question06 Mar 2007 02:05 GMT1
I used to use Extensis Suitcase, and liked how you can scroll through an
entire library of fonts in the preview pane. With Font Book, you can see
only one font at a time in the preview pane. So, you have to click the
name to see each one....which is a drag! Or, am I missing ...
Firefox theme?06 Mar 2007 00:18 GMT2
Is there a theme or utility available that will give Firefox the
Unified title & tool bar as found in Mail, Camino, etc? I have searched
unsuccessfully. The unified bar is much more elegant and streamlined.

Macintosh Reunion 9 just shipped yesterday.
Now for OS X in total, no more for OS 9.
Can you code browser buttons to configure security controlls?05 Mar 2007 20:44 GMT3
I will pay you top dollar if you are confident you can handle security
issues.  I need a dynamic way to disable all scripting and potentially
illegal interference on sites I don't trust.  Every time I go to a
website I want it to ask me for the level of security I need, that I
Opening a .wps file05 Mar 2007 20:03 GMT43
I know there has been a previous discussion of this on here, which I found in
the archives, but has anyone actually succeeded in opening a .wps file on a
Mac?  I have downloaded Open Office, but it does not recognise the file.  I
am reluctant to download Neo Office as well unless ...
iDVD alternatives05 Mar 2007 19:49 GMT7
I'm looking for an alternative to iDVD that is simple and cheap (not
DVD Studio Pro). My beef with iDVD is that it seems to insist on using
the rigid, cheesy templates. I want to create a simple DVD menu with
buttons where I want them. Is this too much to ask for?
Why does screen go dim?05 Mar 2007 19:43 GMT10
A  problem that I haven't been able to fix with System Preferences:  After sitting unused
for about a minute, the screen on my Mac Powerbook (10.4, latest patches) suddenly goes
very dim.  This makes a couple of apps essentially unusable.  Thus, I've been experimenting
with a music ...
markspace MissingSync on Mac os x05 Mar 2007 18:54 GMT8
I've downloaded (and paid for) this software and it won't start on my
machine.  The icon bounces for a while and then stops.  I have to force
quit it.
It works on another user account, but not on mine.
