I keep my iTunes library and files on an external drive. After hooking this up to my new MacBook (previously I used my old PowerBook) I found that iTunes couldn't find over 1500 songs, leaving me with a mass of interrogation marks against these songs.

Is is possible to hide the navigation bar in a preview slideshow. I want to use it for a presentation using a pdf file, bu the gray bar at the bottom is distracting or worse when it appears after every time changing the slide.

I finally found a text editor (TextWrangler) that works well for the sort of text I usually deal with. I would also like to be able to invoke it from the command line, but so far haven't been able to figure out how (I'm new to the Mac).
