Hard drives are getting cheap enough that I'd like to copy the roughly
50 hours of home video I've created to an external HDD and be able to
scan through or play the videos from the HDD. I have the videos both
on mini-DV tapes and on home made (i.e., not copy protected) DVD's. At

I just discovered that iPhoto converts RAW files to jpg for storage,
which pretty much defeats any advantage from using RAW.  Does Aperture
do this or does it preserve RAW?  If it preserves RAW, can it do
anything with iPhoto libraries.  I have been using iPhoto to catalog

The rest of the apps - Entourage, PPT, Excel are working fine.
Bringing up Word, however, it opens a new document and freezes.  Tried
DL'ing the most current free upgrade from MS and still nothing.  There
it is - frozen - non-blinking.

Does anyone know a way to combine a number of separate iMovie 6 files
together into just one file? The problem is that, while I know I can
copy and paste the clips from each movie, these have added audio tracks,
and I cannot find a way to make both video and audio copy and paste ...

I import quite a few audiobooks into iTunes, and find it very irritating not
to have a column for *author*.  I have to use *composer* instead.  Is there
any way at all to change the names of the column options?  I cannot find such
a thing anywhere, and there is nothing even close ...

Can I use Playlists with the Shuffle, meaning can I skip from one
playlist to the next.  ie. I have one playlist for podcast and another
for music.

When I put photos into Iphoto with my SD 550 there is no problem of
copying them out of a file to filemaker files. When I use my wife's
Rebel IPhoto puts them in the file but I have to drag them to the
desktop as no other program recognizes they are in IPhoto albums. Anyone

Using Safari 2.0.4 under OS X 10.4.9 is there any way into forcing Safari to
always search under the option of "pages from the UK" rather than search "the
