Is there _really_ no DVD authoring software for the Mac other than DVD Studio Pro (which the pirates at Apple won't sell unless you buy the whole "Studio" bundle)? iDVD doesn't count, it's low-level dreck, you can get the same results out of Toast.

I have downloaded an attachment/article via Hogwasher and then inadvertently deleted same!! How do I re-download what is now a read / downloaded article? Just removing the read status does not seem to help. Thanks

I'm trying out WriteRoom, but it's making my 1.25gHz G4 behave like a MacPlus. e.g. working on a sizable (100,000 word) document in fullscreen mode ... wanted to Google something, so hit the keys to get back to normal

I have an order in for an Intel based imac (24 in screen). All this time, for various reasons, I've mainly been working in OS 9.2.2 on my G4 (dual 500 Hz, 384 RAM) - although I do have OS 10.2.8 on this machine that I have dipped into from time to time.

I have tried all the fixes, checked all the settings, deleted preferences, deleted rules, etc. etc., but my Mail (OS 10.4) continually dletes e-mails older than 30 days. Any ideas? I have an old iMac, and I don't feel like doing a full reinstall
