I have a DVD (MTV 4.6 GB) with 200 pics I have to copy and burn to a
CD.
The DVD will not open in my Graphite G4 (internal DVD drive or external
Lacie Rewritable DVD Drive). no error, just no mount.

Last year I edited some movie sequences in iMovie 3 which were
EXTREMELY difficult and I NEVER want to do again, but I will be
installing iMovie 6 soon and if it isn't the torture I'm afraid it will
be, I may want to do the entire project in it, including the parts I

I have a Flash video (.FLV) file that consists of "FLV1" video content and
"MP3" audio content. It plays in FLV Player, a dedicated Flash file player,
and while my slow computer causes much jerky playing of the video, the audio
is good.

I have a MAC G3 with OS9.2 and the appropriate ITUNES.
I started out importing files to the original hard drive, MAC HD:,
using the default location (I assume this is
Documents/ITunes/Itunes Music).

Just downloaded a .hqx file. Usually when I go to open such files the
suggested app is Stuffit but wouldn't show up tonight and cannot figure
out how to open this.  It is a Eudora app I need  as soon  as possible.
I   cannot figure  out why Stuffit wasny suggested to open.

Is there an iPod-oriented newsgroup?  (one which will handle iPod
interface and technical questions -- not just discussions of music and

On system 9 iMac, Flash Player 7 doesn't seem to get recognized while
web-surfing with Mozilla 1.3.1
I download the file from Adobe and click to install... merging it with
Mozilla icon, and re-boot. All the cool web animations however dissapear

I have started using iTunes to to lack of alternatives for iPod.
I want to select a set of songs. Usually you would just select them
from the left using the mouse or select the top song out of the group
then CTRL + SHIFT  then click the bottom song in the group.

In Safari, over the past few months I have been going to PDF's and find
that it opens a file-opening dialogue which has this message:
"Please select an Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader application to use..."

The applications folder on my external drive has inexplicably become
invisible. I thought it had somehow been trashed (panic), but after
using TinkerTool to show hidden and system files, it appeared as normal.

Lately I've been experiencing a lot of "error -37" when trying to
decompress regular zip files.
