What type of microphone do I use with the mac mini? I tried as tero microphone that works fine on other computers and it failed. I can run a mono line in from the radio and the sound from the device is recorded. Do I need a mono microphone?

I believe there is an app to transfer your stuff to a new Mac. What is it called and what does it do? In particular, what does it do with your mail? If necessary you could probably transfer everything else manually, but mail has me kind of flummoxed.
