I rather like this extension for Thunderbird:

Safari RSS: Same Story Multiple Times... What's the Deal?29 Dec 2006 07:12 GMT3
Just started trying out Safari 2's RSS reader (switching from

the same time stamp.  Kind of annoying.  Do others see this?
How to edit Podcast ID3 tags28 Dec 2006 15:59 GMT18
What distinguishes a podcast from an ordinary MP3 file is its ID3 tags.
While there are lots of applications which can _generate_ a podcast file
from scratch (and even submit to iTunes Store), I haven't found an app
to _edit_ those podcasts I downloaded to my Mac. ID3 editors ...

Built-in speaker problems on a laptop27 Dec 2006 18:42 GMT1
I have a PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz PowerPC running OS 10.4.8.  The built-in
speakers randomly stopped working.  I can't think of anything I did to
cause it.  It seems to be a software-side problem.  At the same time as
my speakers stopped going, the headphone jack started glowing red,

Does anyone know whether there is a sort of Audio Hijack for video, i.e

The firefox video plug-in is useless for this since it only works on
certain sites/file types, and PageSucker will do the download but the
iTunes & iPod: gapless playback27 Dec 2006 01:12 GMT12
I use my iPod almost exclusively for listening to recorded books which
have already been ripped from other media (eg mp3s made from cassettes,
CDs, radio).  Recently the iPod has been changing to the next track a
few seconds before the end of the current track so I lose a few words ...
Generic RSS reading Dashboard widget?26 Dec 2006 22:23 GMT5
I'm looking for a Dashboard widget that lets me subscribe to the

Just as a precautionary check I'd like to record to a log file for a
