What the hell?  I installed nothing, updated nothing, changed nothing in
the system or in Mail, but suddenly the "Send" button is just not there
anymore in new message composition windows.  Searching the Mail menus I
see no way to re-add it.  Any ideas?  (I have not yet re-booted ...

I would like to tune some pieces of aluminum tubing that I am turning
into a wind chime. The tuning process involves removing metal from each
end of the tube in small increments. Each time I remove some metal I
need to measure the frequency (HZ) of the tube to see if I am getting

I've been searchng (along with others, I think) for an "improved
TextEdit" -- that is, a word processor with the simplicity of TextEdit,
plus a few added features and a bit better support, but way less than

This is to report on my continuing efforts to get iCab 3.0.3 to work on
my system. I've been experiencing unexpected quits with Type 2 error
when telling this version of iCab to go to any URL (I'm using

I want to delete some of the printer drivers on my Powerbook because
(apparently) they take up a lot of space arround 1Gb.  Im only going to
keep the one I use, and update in the future as required.
