I have made the plunge into video and am comparing iMovie HD and Final Cut

I have Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac. When i open "blank document" it
doesn't open a blank document. I don't know how to reset the settings
so it will open a blank document.

It seems like AppleWorks won't be upgraded, and iWork might be designated
as the replacement for AppleWorks.  Alright then.  But there's no reason I
can't keep using AppleWorks if I can still open the files in the future
