I still can't get this to send pictures.  Recent correspondence with
palm leads me to believe some Classic app is run or installed during
restart.  Is that possible?  I removed all my Classic Apps years ago,
which could explain why restart hangs and Send to Handheld can't send

I'm running 3.5.2 on a Powerbook G4. After upgrading from 3.5.1, I

I have a PowerMac G4 Sawtooth running OS X Tiger and have noticed that
from time to time
I seem to be getting corrupt pdf files.
There is a pdf file in my Downloads folder with the name "1|9muaf0.pdf"

I am interested in Linux and likely will use Mac OS X far more but
want to have the capability of using it so that I can learn the OS as

It always crashes when it tries to load the page. Why does this happen?

I have a mini-mac which is connected via an ethernet cable to a PC which in
turn has a wireless card. The PC connects to the internet via the wireless
card and a cable TV broadband connection and router.

I am running OS 10.3.9 with iCal 1.5.5 on a G3 B&W and OS 10.4.8 with
iCal 2.0.4 on a G4 iBook. Synchronizing is done thru .Mac which works
fine except that times do not match.
Appointments in iCal 1.5.5 are two hours earlier than in iCal 2.0.4 !!!

Just recently (within weeks) updated to 10.4.8 combo updater.
I am still using Appleworks 6.29. Yes I know Apple has largely orphaned
it. A shame as it was a nice basic software package. Handwriting on wall
may indicate I should just abandon Appleworks.
