I've gotten a bit weary of the complexities and long execution times of
Retrospect backups -- even incremental backups seem to involve a very
long scanning time -- and am thinking of converting to weekly disk image
(.dmg) backups instead.

Just downloaded it today. WAY nice. WAY fast on this Intel mini. Faster
even than the pipelining 1.5 I was using yesterday.
Damn it's fast.

I'm using Mail.app version 2.1 (752/752.2) on OS X 10.4.8.
I would prefer to send Mail as plain text, not format=flowed.
Is this possible, and if so where is the format=flowed setting?
STFW and Mail Help give no obvious clues.

I'm trying to use an Airport Express as a shared wireless printer
server, and of course, no problem for my PPC Mac and Power Book Pro.
But can't seem to get my wife's HP laptop to print through the Airport

PDF file, without trying to extract the image, or edit the whole PDF? --
for example, by searching for specific strings inside the PDF file ...

  Maybe i'm crazy, but I thought I remembered Itunes-lame respecting
the iTunes "Join Track" selections from iTunes.  But now I'm using it
with iTunes 7, and I mark join tracks, but itunes-lame just sucks them

Hi, I recently upgraded from a G3 to a G4 and can't get connected with
compuserve or AOL. If tried with os 9.2 and os 10.3.7. I get at most a
weak connection for 30 seconds and then it disconnects. Any similar

What I want is basically create really nice flash animations that I can
use for presentations, so I want to embed them into my PowerPoint
presentations. I just hate the PowerPoint animation stuff.
