i've to create a digital library. Here's the description of my needs :
I have to scan many books. Each page must be OCRized and convert into
one pdf file. All the pages of one book are put in one mac folder (one
different folder per book).

With using Entourage is there any other program that helps organization

As much as I love Macs, I sometimes cannot stand the decisions that
Apple makes. It seems to me that Apple often shoots themselves in the
foot and I'm sure others agree.  Perhaps not Mac enthusiasts, but most
definitely those in the PC world.

Not quite sure if this is the appropriate NG for this, but I can't think of a
better one. I have an iMac G4 running OS X Tiger, and guests use it sometimes
to watch DVDs. I would like to get a simple remote for this.  (The
mini-remote which comes with the G5 doesn't work, ...

Ok. I go to a site and it says I can download a RSS feed for a podcast.
I can do that. I see the feed in my Safari browser RSS folder. Now, how
do I get in into the ITunes podcast directory? I'm lost obviously.

If i mute my sound, itunes stops playing the song and can no longer
play any songs until it is closed and launched again.  This is on
winxp, on a laptop.  By muting, i mean software mute.
