it used to work, but I'd switch it off and on, and eventually the round
little app wouldn't pop up on my dekstop.  Hope someone has been able
to fix the same problem

I've just started with my palm and quickly saw it's own apps leave much to be
desired (not the least of which is they aren't UB). Within a few hours of
using Missing Sync I saw how much more useful it is.
I (so far) have one gripe. I use the PDA way much more than iCal for ...

Safari is nice as an RSS reader, but the display of RSS news is pretty
ugly, with tthe blue header etc. Can I adapt that with another CSS file
or so?
Also, Firefox shows the HTML sites directly, instead fo showing an RSS

There is a really irritating little thing in Apple Mail (version 2.1) and I
can't see how to change it.  When I choose Reply to a message, the message I

I've finally gotten around to setting up a newer Mac running MacOS
9.2.2. I've updated Palm Desktop to 4.2.1. I'm trying to get AvantGo
4.0 to play nicely with my setup (since I'm using a Palm m515), but it

Howdy.
I'm trying to take some quicktime mpegs/mov's into imovie to finally do
something with them.    But I lose audio, whether dragging them in or
exporting to any format.

My iBook G4 went to sleep automatically then wouldn't turn on.
I held the button for 5..10 seconds, again and again.  Nothing!
Taking the battery out and putting back, it turned on!  It's running ok
now.

remains a red bulb left to the subscription name denoting there are still

Date instead of "Rank" (whatever that means).

What's are the significant differences in function between Save,
Save As..., and Reduce File Size... for PDF files in Acrobat?
(leaving aside the Finder bookkeeping involved when you use Save As to
save the file in a different place or with a different name)
