I'm having trouble using my thesaurus. It will work for some words in my document but not others. All the words are English (US). When I clicked on help, it said my proofing tools were not installed. I checked in my applications folder for Office and they are in there.

Since I really don't need the album artwork displayed on my iPod anymore - it takes up too much room on the display - I fired up iTunes and de-selected the option to "Display album artwork on your iPod". Then a funny thing happened:

I see software available on line (for purchase) but don't see anything about whether it will work with mac. i have a bunch of PFDs i need to exerpt from for a story and don't want to type it all in! anyone help?

I have an asp.net website built which allows file uploads via <input type="file" />. I also have an <input type="reset"/> button as well. My users are reporting that if they select a file then click the reset button, nothing happens. Any ideas?

The toolbar shows lots of unnecessary things, e.g. the American flag, signalizing that I'm using the American character palette. Also the PPPoE status is shown, but I don't need that. How can I turn these unnecessary toolbar icons off?

When I go to news sites, like CNN, and try to play one of their videos, Firefox balks and throws up an error box saying it cannot find the video player then I get a MediaPlayer Connectivity menu that wants me to browse and find my Windows Media Player. I am using Flip4Mac

Is there a simple way to put something you trashed back from where it came in OS X even when you have forgotten. I think I used to use simple command y on pre-x but see no equivalent I recognise now. Please.

Skype_BETA_1.5.0.75, MacBook osx 10.4.7 What does "Misc error" mean and how do I fix it? After several Skype video crashes and at least one shutdown-start cycles, I was able to connect with my friend in a video conference.
