I have a PDF which I created in InDesign. If I open the PDF in Acrobat Pro
and print it doesn't print correctly. If I open the PDF in Preview and print
it prints correctly.

I've always been hesitant about backing up, afraid of losing my software
because I push the wrong button in an app. But now I have to. So there
is a couple question. Right now, as I compose this message I'm using
Toast to make data dvds of my home file.

Is it possible for OS X macro software to control an old OS 9
application running in classic? I want the macro software to select a
menu item and I'll assign a keyboard shortcut to that macro.

Just started using Thunderbird with OS X (installed v.1.505)-- I'm

I have used this for my e-mail and new reader for a while with no

I have come over from the dark side. I have "seen" Macs but never used one.
I am looking for a news group for absolute newbies. I am trying to find out
about conversions from win to Mac, i.e. Outlook Express and Outlook, how to
convert win mail to mac.

I find the colour/density used in quoted text when reading messages too
faint for my preference, and I find it hard to read.
How does one change the font colours used in quoted text? I can't find
it in the Preferences.

My microsoft mouse used to snap to buttons like,"okay" and "save".  My
new microsoft mouse which I use with OS 10+ does not do this.  The
option does not appear in the mouse preferences panel.  Any ideas on
