| a cute thing with drawers... | 02 May 2006 17:08 GMT | 22 |
On some Mac apps, if you have a drawer open and click the "-" icon to send the window to the dock, the drawer stays! I laugh every time it happens. I bring the window back, shut the drawer and send it to the dock. I think the window is a very poor parent

I am running Safari 2.0.3 on an iBook G4 with OS 10.4.6. I cannot find any keyboard shortcut that would allow me to switch from one tab to the next without either closing the current tab using Command-W (which I don't always want to do) or using the trackpad to mouse over to the ...

| How to play mp3's on an iPod? (best mp3 player application?) | 02 May 2006 02:01 GMT | 31 |
My system is a WinXP computer, and my friend has a Mac system. I have a website and post mp3's onto a page for him, but for some reason they won't play on his iPod. These are just ordinary mp3's downloaded off the internet, and they all play fine on my PC's WinAmp player.

| Dell 2005FPW Monitor Problem | 01 May 2006 21:49 GMT | 10 |
Recently bought the Dell, new, & hooked it up to my G5, running OS 10.3.9. During boot-up, Mac's screens showed, but at end the screen was black. Pushing selector buttons shows only #2 as having any kind of signal, but it's in a seemingly endless self-test mode. #3 & #4 say no

| Problem with configure | 01 May 2006 20:07 GMT | 2 |
I'm new to building software on Macs. In fact, this question is about building on someone else's Mac, because I don't normally have access to one. I have a software package written in C and built with the standard GNU make utilities. It compiles and links on GNU/Linux. When
