I have a new 20" Intel Core Duo iMac.  Love it.  Right now, it is sitting in
my home office alongside my Win XP PC, the switching-to-the-mac process
going on slowly but surely.  My XP is connected to a cable modem coming into

I just read that you can disable an open firmware password by removing
the memory module and resetting the Pram. If this is the case, is it
even worth having on my powerbook? Anybody got any suggestions about
laptop security.

Cant get the darn thing off my desktop. I like iSync and want to keep
that. But prefer gDisk over iDisk.

The copyright is 1999.  I have preferred it to the online maps
available using OS 9.  On my Mac Mini, the Delorme installer
started the Classic Environment, but the installation seems to have failed.

The question is this: will the new "MacIntel" Powerbooks / iBooks have

Mail has stopped working with the following missive:
Mail cannot update your mailboxes because your home directory is full.
And then goes on to say:
YOu must free up space in your home directory using Mail.  Delete

I've been having a problem with some of my music just vanishing off of
my hard drive.  I've noticed that several songs that were added on the
same day are disappearing without a trace, different songs associated
by being added on the same day.  Even music I purchase from the iTunes

Can someone tell me how to download and decode rar and par files?
I am using MT-Newswatcher and Mac OS 10.3.9
Do I need additional software?

  One of the features I liked about that old prog was being able to
drop files into hot key folders whilst flying through a slideshow. Any
X progs that do this?
