I have iTunes 6.0.4 (3) on a G4. No problems for years. I just tried to
burn a playlist to a CD-RW and the application continually "Checks
Media". I can't get it to burn. The media is blank and fresh; I saw on
the net that perhaps it is necessary to burn to CD-RW in only 1-4X, so

I just upgraded for 5 to 6, only I appear to have lost all my themes,
including the new ones.
When I launched iDVD 6 it wanted it's themes, I looked were they below
(library/application support/iDVD/) and they weren't there. So,

Most CD players have an option to force a 16:9 picture, which properly
handles 4:3-anamorphic DVDs.  I can't find such an option in DVD Player.  
Is there one?  If not, is there a player available that can do this?
