MT-Newswatcher and .mac?15 Feb 2006 03:10 GMT13
In NetNewsWire, I can save my subscriptions file to my .mac account so
that I have access to my updated subscriptions from my iMac at home or
my PowerBook on the road. Is it possible to coax MT-Newswatcher to do
the same thing? I know you can do this with MT-NW if you have access ...
MT-NewsWatcher Problem14 Feb 2006 18:41 GMT3
Suddenly this morning when I started reading newsgroups, each message
that I open scrolls off the left side of the window.  I can stop the
scrolling by holding down the (left) mouse button.  Any ideas as to what
I inadvertently did (or perhaps my cats did last night while walking ...
Slow Safari Performance???14 Feb 2006 17:13 GMT11
All,
I appear to be getting progressively slower performance from Safari.  I
am running on a Mac G5 under OS X 10.3.9.  Note that Safari running on
my laptop under OS X 10.4.4 has not been experiencing a similar
TigerTakesMyPrinterBackToMiddleAges14 Feb 2006 06:52 GMT5
I just installed Tiger om my iMacG4; all is working well but the printer

Firefox does this easily.  Thanks.

OS X Telnet14 Feb 2006 00:20 GMT7
The only application I need to use Classic Mode for is a telnet application I
use to talk to a Unix system in NYC.  I've dug around a little for a native
OSX version (I'm on 10.4.4) without success.  Any suggestions?  Onbiously
"free" has its attractions but it's not a hard ...

Safari and URLS13 Feb 2006 23:05 GMT8
I notice that www.whatever gets one nowhere in Safari. In
Mozilla, it thinks, ah, yes, of course, pleased to be of service,
and adds the http:// bit. So many people omit this bit (and who
can blame them?) in their link references. In my MT newsreader,
TextWrangler (by design) ignores font settings in old files.13 Feb 2006 22:44 GMT4
Hi. I would like to change all of my TextWrangler files (.txt mostly)
to use the font setting I choose in Preferences.  TextWrangler saves
state, so the font setting is saved when you save a file.  Newly
created files have my new font setting, but old files I saved

Let's say I have a folder full of JPEGs that have come straight from the digital
camera. All I want to do is
resize them, say from 1200x1600 to 300x400 or so. I don't want to have to open

Flash in Safari in Intel Macs13 Feb 2006 02:13 GMT1
I learned that Flash Player is not compatible with Intel Macs. I have
an iMac with Flash 8 installed. Using Safari under Rosetta works fine
