I use Windows XP at work on a network. Can I somehow access my Home
Mac? We also have some Macs at work, not on a network but probably
firewalled somehow. Can I access my Mac at hom from these Macs?

Based on a report that iPhoto 6 fixes the iPhoto 5 problrm of very slow
(over 5 minutes in my case) startup and shutdown when pictures are taken
with certain digital cameras (in my case, Casio EXLIM-Z40 and Nikon
D70), I tried it.

Can disc images created on a Mac be sent to a Windows machine and opened ?
I have the need to send files that are somewhat confidential to a family
member that owns a Windows machine (files will be send over the net). The

I recently installed 10.3.9 on my daughter's 366 MHz G3 clamshell which
has 192 MB RAM and a 5.5 GB hard drive.  I also just purchased an
external 250 GB USB/FW drive for her to use as storage.  So far, 10.3.9

I've found at least one confirmed instance, and several suspected
instances, in which the last second or two of a song was cut off when
importing into iTunes.

I am kind of new to using iTunes.  I recently got an 30 gig iPod and
now I am really starting to use iTunes.  I have started copying all my
cd's to my computer and I can see that having some playlists is going
to be important in organizing all this music.
