OS 7-9 and perhaps earlier stored sensitive data in files. For example once I copied a file to a floppy disk, and sometime later popped this disk in a PC. For some reason the file became corrupted and when I opened the file on the PC I was able to see the volume name of my Mac,

Probably wasted too much of my life on this already, but would like to use Spotlight on my emails. The only way I can access corporate exchange over the internet is via OWA. Entourage does this succesfully. Problem is that I can't get Mail 2 to do same.

Is there any reason I can't take the 56K V.90 internal modem out of my old Imac and insert it into my G4? I bought the G4 from a college campus lab where it was connected to the internet via ethernet cable and thus didn't have an internal modem. Has anybody ever done this and ...
