| Apple Mail goes mute! Any suggestions? | 04 Jan 2006 02:29 GMT | 12 |
Apple's Mail (I'm running 10.4.2; Mail 2.0.2) loses it's sound output, from time to time. If I quit-relaunch it comes back, but otherwise it's annoying, because I lose my mail alerts. It's the same for the default mail sound, as well as special 'rules' where I have particular sounds

With Tiger, I just moved from Entrourage to Mail. One thing I am disappointed in is junk mail filtering. Entourage seemed to catch about 95% of the junk mail I received, while Mail seems to catch no more than 50% of it. This seems remarkably poor performance.
