Reading PDF files effectively?19 Dec 2005 19:10 GMT2
I read piles of PDF files on a regular basis, and wonder if there is a
way to read PDF more effectively. I like Preview.app, which is quite
fast and neat. But, moving back and forth within a document is really a
pain for me. I wish there'd be tabs for bookmarks.
.wmv19 Dec 2005 17:20 GMT4
What app opens an e-mail attachment with the  extension .wmv?  When I
clicked on it, Photoshop Elements came up... and said it couldn't open
it.
Any help gratefully accepted.

I'm using a Kensington optical mouse, MacOSX 10.4.3 and Chicken of the

TextEdit background color18 Dec 2005 09:11 GMT2
How do you change the background color of the TextEdit window?  In

Odd behavior/appearance in browsers in 10.4.318 Dec 2005 06:09 GMT3
Three different browsers (Safari, Netscape and Firefox) are behaving badly on my

The appearance of the font does not seem to "line up" with the cursor in places
such as the Yahoo Mail compose box, blog comment boxes, etc., in all three
Print Shop for Mac - Calendar18 Dec 2005 01:44 GMT9

As broadband speeds have increased, I've found that I view/download
video files on an increasingly regular basis.  I imagine I'm not alone
